AI Engineer – FinTech Startup

THE COMPANY

My client is a trailblazing startup set to disrupt the financial technology industry. Fresh off a successful Series A funding round, they are seeking an AI Engineer to help build their AI-driven accounting platform, architect their infrastructure from scratch, and take on a key position in their lean, high-impact team.

THE ROLE

As an AI Engineer , you’ll be a core team member in this 14-person startup, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of their AI platform with a strong focus on data integrity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing a large-scale data infrastructure platform, primarily using Python.
• Ensuring long-term platform stability and performance.
• Creating and maintaining resilient, high-performance data pipelines.
• Managing, scaling, and optimizing multiple data models running in parallel.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a background in Machine Learning with a focus on infrastructure engineering.
• You bring experience (and a keen interest) in accounting and financial data systems.
• You understand the challenges of scaling a startup through multiple funding rounds.
• You have strong Python programming skills.
• You’ve successfully built a major data infrastructure project from concept to completion.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.
