CDL Truck Driver / Stage Technician for Mobile Stage Operations

Little Rock, AR (must be willing to travel frequently)

Salary:

$30,000 - $60,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview:

We are searching for a CDL truck driver with technical skills eager to broaden their expertise to include mobile stage operations. This position involves transporting our flatbed trailers and mobile stages to various event venues and learning to set up and operate our mobile stage equipment. You will be actively engaged in small to medium-scale events, overseeing the setup and takedown of mobile stages and serving as a key on-site contact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport flatbed trailers and mobile stages to event locations throughout the region.
• Manage and execute the setup and takedown of mobile stages on-site for events.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact, handling logistics, communicating with clients, and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Rock City Staging team to ensure mobile stage operations adhere to safety standards and timelines.
• Develop familiarity with event and staging procedures and become proficient in operating mobile stage equipment.
• Assist in maintaining mobile stage equipment and coordinating repairs or adjustments as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with flatbed trailers and/or event staging equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on-site.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing event challenges.
• Effective communication skills with clients, event coordinators, and internal team members.

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting salary range of $40,000-$60,000, based on experience, technical skills, and event management capabilities.
• Truck driver-only option available at a daily rate of $300, equivalent to approximately $30,000 annually.
