LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ. Responsibilities Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with nfrastructure standards and project specifications Prepare daily reports including description of contractor work activities, labor and equipment identification and quantity Review plans to identify potential violations Document inspections and report any issues Determine the quality of materials being used Qualifications Minimum of 1-5 years engineering experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required Self-starter and organized capable of simultaneously working on multiple projects (terminals, buildings, bridges, ports) Working knowledge of inspection and testing of mechanical, electrical, fire protection and architectural Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Valid driver’s license is required Our Culture: We believe in the power of collaboration. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment Compensation: Min: $83,200 - Max: $104,000 The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location. ~ The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
