PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:  

We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual to be part of our front office team. As a part time Front Office Staff member, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient flow, managing and filling the schedule, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:  

  • Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide timely and accurate information 
  • Confirm and schedule appointments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information 
  • Check patients in and out, managing patient flow and minimizing wait times 
  • Monitor faxes, receive and send out repairs and orders, and ensure timely follow up 
  • Create documents for daily office functions, including reports, correspondence, and patient communication, as well as forms for necessary office functions 
  • Process and record payments, verify insurances, and process referrals 
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all patients 
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the business needs of the practice 

Required Skills and Qualities:  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Bilingual
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on delivering exceptional service 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work culture 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical software/programs 

Education and qualifications:  

High school diploma or equivalent required 

1-2 years of experience in a medical office preferred

Schedule:  

The position we are currently looking to fill is part-time, Friday and Saturday 8am-4:30pm. Training will be Thursday and Friday until fully trained.
