Job Description

MRI technologists use MRI machines to capture detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and bones. They operate complex equipment, prepare patients for scans, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operating MRI Equipment : Set up and operate MRI machines to capture diagnostic images of the body.
• Patient Interaction : Explain procedures to patients and provide instructions on how to position themselves during the scan.
• Patient Safety : Screen patients for metal implants, pacemakers, or other contraindications for MRI.
• Image Quality : Ensure high-quality images are produced and review scans for clarity and accuracy.
• Record Keeping : Document patient information and scan details, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and ensure the MRI machine is functioning properly.
• Collaboration : Work with doctors, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret images.

Certification:

ARRT certification

BLS (AHA)

Experience:

PACS experience preferred

EHR- Epic

$31.00 Hourly taxable

$99.00 OT Hourly taxable
