Pay Range: $26.00 to $28.00/hour

Oral Surgery Assistant Job Requirements:

A successful Oral Surgery Assistant will have the following skills and exhibit these behaviors:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of oral surgery experience
• Organizational and time management skills
• Positive and outgoing personality
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Previous work experience in a dental practice

Oral Surgery Assistant Key Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgeon with chairside procedures including operatory setup and clean up, tray set up and anesthesia administration
• Preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, materials, and equipment
• Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring vitals
• Taking and developing x-rays
• Providing patients with excellent care including comprehensive patient education
• Other duties as assigned by management
