Pediatrician

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Pediatrician for our office in North Port, Florida who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service! Our pediatric outpatient primary care facility is filled with passionate and experienced medical professionals who are specially trained to solve children's diagnostic problems as well as treat their overall health and wellness. The compensation and benefits for this position are as follows:

• $175,000 Base Salary

Job Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm)
• Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns, infants, children, young adults to the age of 21 years and record health physical development.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, emphasizing preventative care and management of common pediatric conditions (e.g., asthma, ADHD, etc.).
• Recommend appropriate vaccines and educate families on the importance of vaccines schedules.
• Perform age-appropriate procedures (e.g., minor wound care, administer Rapid tests, etc.).
• Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
• Prescribe medication and give detailed instructions for administration.
• Educate parents and guardians on children's diet, exercise, and disease preventive measures.
• Participate in continuing education activities to maintain and develop expertise.
• Respond to emergencies effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in pediatric medicine.

Job Requirements

• Board Certified Pediatrician
• Hospital Privileges (Onsite Rounding at MCU)
• Saturday Morning Sick Clinic Responsibilities (1:7)
• Active and Clear Florida License
• No Reprimands or Deficiencies
