Job Description

PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR : We are a 30-year-old company based in San Diego, providing consulting, general engineering construction services and we also self-perform earthwork & grading. This is a steady and long-term employment opportunity, with opportunity for advancement. Compensation will be commensurate with skill and experience.

• Qualifications: Two or more years of experience as a Project Administrator working of projects from start to finish.
• Must have a strong knowledge of the demolition process, including means & methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills, as well as an attention to detail.
• Highly skilled at interpreting plans, environmental reports and other types of construction documents.
• Average or better computer skills.
• Must have excellent documentation skills.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Track documentation for construction projects from start to finish

• Develop and maintain construction documents, draft contracts, and change orders.

Communicate and coordinate with contractors and supplier

Monitor and maintain communications between the field and the office

• Administer bid documents, submittals and RFI’s, create and track change orders and work orders
• Provide administrative support to the construction team and the Estimating Department.
