About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional project management and Agile methodologies. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects, ensuring team collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Project Management
  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while aligning with organizational goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and ensure team members have the necessary tools to succeed.
Scrum Master Duties
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support the team in removing impediments to progress and meeting sprint goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization within the team.
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Advocate for Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
Qualifications Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in project management or Scrum Master roles.
  • Proven experience delivering projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
Certifications (preferred)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
Skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
