Job Title: Sales Operations, Director

Location: Fremont, CA

The Sales Operations Director is responsible for improving the customer’s experience from initial sales interactions to the delivery of the company’s systems. This is accomplished by optimizing the interface between the customer facing team and internal assets by implementing processes that increase sales, allow the sales team to work more effectively and make sure all terms and conditions are satisfied. Furthermore, this position will be accountable for all associated business forecasts to ensure that the executive team is kept apprised of business developments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develops and provides forecasts (Booking/Shipments/Revenue) to executive team.
  • Manages customer interactions including quote generation, specification negotiations, purchase order validation, sales order entry and shipping/delivery coordination.
  • Ensures all commercial deals are executed in full compliance to applicable laws, compliance statues, commercial terms and company values while addressing company's business objectives.
  • Maintains CRM database to keep internal stakeholders apprised of sales activities including performance to forecast and slot planning.
  • Responds directly to web-based product inquiries and assign key leads to sales team as needed.
  • Creates sales automation tools to improve efficiency of sales activities.
  • Interfaces directly with Business Units & Operations to actively manage slot plan against customer and forecast commitments.
  • Assists customer facing team in holding conferences and customer engagements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated success in a sales operation, business operations or similar role.
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements and ensure successful execution.
  • Analytical and demonstrated ability to extract key business insights through data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills with administrator level skills SalesForce software including the generation of dashboards and reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and task; proven strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Agile, self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Working understanding of shipping capital equipment to international customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations and/or business systems, preferably in a semiconductor environment.
  • 3+ years developing and leading highly effective teams
  • Experience developing processes directly related to improving sales outcomes.
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements and ensure successful execution.

Travel Requirements:

  • No more than 20% (Domestic & International)

Compensation:

  • The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000 per year; higher compensation may be available depending on advanced skills and/or specific experience .
  • YES also offers a performance-based annual bonus and a competitive benefits package, which includes a 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, in addition to flexible PTO and company stock.
