Job Description
Location: New York NY (Remote anywhere in the U.S.; ET preferred)
Job type: 12month Contract
Hourly rate: $73/hr (candidates requiring more than this will be considered but preference will be given to those accepting $73)
- We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented IT Project Administrator with strong experience and a proven track record of managing or supporting large scale integration projects in the insurance industry.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing issues and risks ensuring that they are effectively managed and resolved on time and in alignment with program schedule.
- This role requires strong communication skills a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.

Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning execution and monitoring of deliverables ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Issue and Risk Management: Identify document and track project issues and risks. Develop mitigation strategies and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans status reports meeting minutes and issue/risk logs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between project teams stakeholders and management. Provide regular updates on project status issues and risks.
- Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead project meetings ensuring that agendas are set minutes are recorded and action items are tracked.
- Resource Management: Assist in the allocation and management of project resources ensuring that team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with project objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for project management and infrastructure processes.
Requirements

- Bachelor s degree in information technology project management or a related field.
- 10 years overall of related work experience (IT and insurance)
- 3 years of experience in project administration or coordination preferably in IT infrastructure projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies like Agile Waterfall or Hybrid and tools like MS Project Smartsheet Jira or Trello.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and project management software.
- Experience with IT infrastructure technologies and concepts (e.g. networking servers cloud computing).
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
