What you'll do

Docusign is excited to offer a Platform Engineering Internship to a driven and innovative junior college student. The intern will be able to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to real-world projects that drive our business forward. This position will introduce the intern to various technologies, including NodeJS, Python, AWS, and Salesforce, and provide a platform for applying and expanding their knowledge in scripting and database concepts.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Business Applications.

Responsibility

  • Assist in developing and maintaining platform services and features using NodeJS, Python, and Salesforce technologies
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to design, implement, and deploy applications to AWS
  • Write clean, maintainable, efficient code aligned with Docusign standards and best practices
  • Gain hands-on experience with database design, implementation, and management
  • Participate in code and design reviews, ensuring the quality and maintainability of our codebase
  • Fix and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments
  • Learn and adhere to Docusign coding standards and best practices
  • Document code, write technical specifications, and contribute to our internal knowledge base
  • Work closely with mentors and other team members to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
  • Engage in continuous learning and development in emerging technologies and platforms


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Exposure to learning and working with different technologies, including AWS and Salesforce
  • This role is not eligible for sponsorship or CPT


Preferred

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as NodeJS or Python
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to tackle complex challenges
  • Basic understanding of database concepts
  • Ability to receive and give feedback


Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $39.00/hour - $50.00/hour
