The Training and Development Manager will help to move toward our vision of thriving survivors in safe communities.
The Center for Women and Families provides free services to people of all identities who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault. We help our clients and their dependent children become survivors through trauma-informed advocacy. Our goal is to mitigate the impact of trauma by reducing their risk factors and building their resiliency. We serve anyone in Jefferson, Bullitt, Spencer, Shelby, Oldham, Henry and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana.
The Training and Development Manager is responsible for the delivery of emerging knowledge about best practices the field of intimate partner violence and sexual assault for internal and external training. Activities include developing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all training and development undertaken by The Center. The Training and Development Manager engages with a broad range of stakeholder groups, and is a critical representative of the agencys vision, mission, and philosophies.
