We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves various warehouse management tasks, from supporting day-to-day operations to ensuring efficient order processing and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Print & Sort Pick Lists: Efficiently print and organize pick lists to ensure orders are picked and packed accurately and on time.
  • Delegate Tasks & Coordinate with Drivers: Assign tasks to warehouse staff and collaborate with drivers to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Assist with Paperwork Setup: Prepare and organize necessary paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Customer Service Support: Answer customer inquiries via Shopify, Bazaar, or email, providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Process Sample or Touch-Up Paint Requests: Handle customer or internal requests for sample products or paint touch-ups, ensuring correct processing.
  • Monitor Inbound Container Lists: Keep track of inbound container lists, ensuring accuracy in receiving and stocking products.
  • Inspect & Process Returns: Assist with the inspection and processing of returns, ensuring all returned items are evaluated and restocked correctly.
  • Daily Housekeeping: Perform regular housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
  • Schedule Inbound Loads: Schedule inbound deliveries and manage logistics to ensure timely and efficient unloading of shipments.
  • Audit & Track Inbound Loads: Audit and monitor product received in inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Scan & Send Paperwork for Inbound Loads: Scan and send necessary documentation for inbound shipments, ensuring compliance and traceability.
  • Support Forklift Operators: Assist forklift operators as needed, troubleshooting issues to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
  • Assist with Outbound Paperwork: Help drivers with outbound paperwork, ensuring all necessary documents are completed accurately for timely shipments.
  • Inspect for Potential Damages: Carefully inspect products and packaging for any potential damages upon arrival or before dispatch.
  • Daily Safety Checks: Perform daily safety checks on equipment, warehouse operations, and facilities to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
  • Comfortable using computers and basic software applications (Excel, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
