· Implement climate resilience in projects by guiding teams to integrate climate considerations into transportation, energy, utility, and urban development projects.
· Manage climate change risks by identifying and assessing climate-related risks and developing strategies to optimize resource consumption (e.g., energy, water, land) for clients.
· Support carbon offset programs by evaluating and validating client programs for carbon offsets, renewable energy credits, and assisting with greenhouse gas emissions management.
· Provide expert guidance on projects by advising on the execution of projects that mitigate or adapt to climate change, ensuring they align with sustainability goals.
Ideal Profile
· Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Climate Science, Environmental Policy, Urban Planning, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years in sustainability, climate resilience, or climate preparedness with proven success in developing and executing sustainability practices.
· In-depth knowledge of climate mitigation, energy conservation, decarbonization, and environmental reporting.
· Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
