Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with strong development skills, including expertise in creating custom visualizations using programming languages such as Python, Vega, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Power BI's architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, and best practices for building scalable dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Create custom Power BI visuals using JavaScript, Python, Vega and D3.js.
• Implement DAX calculations and optimize data models for performance.
• Integrate Power BI with Azure, SQL Server, APIs, and other data sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Ensure security and governance policies are enforced within Power BI reports.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize report loading times.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Experience with custom visualization development using JavaScript, Python, or vega
• Experience integrating Power BI with REST APIs and other external sources.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Certification:

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or similar certifications.
